Too many pop ups for whatever promotion theyre running in-game. The ads will occasionally crash the app. The ads also play sound regardless if you have your phone set to silent. They also will pause podcast’s playing in the background to play sound for the ads.

The single star is for the inclusion of “Scrabble Classic,” without the moronic animations and upselling. The game pushes ads at you after every turn, many of which blast sound, preventing you from playing in public, next to a sleeping spouse, etc. The only way to escape the ads is to pay $70 per year for a subscription, which would almost be worth it if the developers were not messing up the score keeping, losing your games, and selling your data to relentless marketing goblins.
